What is SURGE:
Surge is the ministry for students 7th-12th grade at Upper Arlington Grace
Brethren Church
What do they do:
Each Sunday night is our “main event”. We meet at the church at
6pm-8:15pm. We play games, pray for each other and study the Word of God.
Every other week we have dinner with our Bonzai ministry(4th-6th grades).
Anything Special Coming Up:
On October 30th, we have a big party that we are calling Redeem Halloween.
It will go from 6-8:30. It will feature traditional games like a pumpkin
carving contest and costume contest(no demons, witches or ghouls please) and
a dinner that will start at six. The night will feature a powerful media
presentation to help us talk about what is Halloween all about and what does
the bible really say about things like the Devil, Ghosts, and witches.
There will be over $100 in prizes given out that night for things like best
pumpkin, best costume, etc!
